Drake does it again

Drake does it again

…. or was it his Record Company / Distributor “ Universal“ since Young Money/Cash Money the label that Darke is actually signed to is a little disfunctional at the moment with Birdman and Lil Wayne ( the owners of the label are have a huge “ beef “ going on over unpaid royalties, it’s pretty much safe to say that some mastermind who still has his head clear.. be it a decision maker at Universal or Drake himself to have the maybe crazy but working idea to release all songs of the album as singles. This resulted in almost the entire album “ More Life“ being on the Billboard Hot 100 Charts. This is not the first time… last year this working method had most of the songs of his album “ Views“ on the US Charts. Since a single roll-out is very expensive and can cost several hundreds of thousands of dollars, this method seams to pay off… sometimes it seams that we all don’t hear anything else on the radio but Drake on urban or pop stations. So budgets for single releases should be recouped pretty fast. Who ever pays for the releases should have recouped the investment, however Drake and his fans will definitely befit from this genus marketing strategy with concert bookings. Since he just finished his European shows not to long after his run in the US with Future, we are not waiting to see him again live in the US for a tour.
